Terrific opportunity for a professional Project Manager with PMP experience to join a smaller exciting leader in the VAR sector of the IT consulting industry. We currently are interviewing candidates for a Project Manager. You will report to and work with the Operations Manager to assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed both internal and external, and develop schedules and milestones to ensure project completion. You will conduct project meetings, perform project tracking and analysis as necessary while ensuring adherence to process standards. You will be responsible for issue resolution or escalation in a timely manner and assisting in eliciting accurate and reliable estimates for delivery. You should be able to identify risk, prepare risk mitigation strategies, and eliminate them and conduct effective 'post-mortem' reviews. To qualify, you need to demonstrate strong organizational, business analysis, and definition skills, while understanding SDLC and Project Management methodologies. The ability to be flexible around roles and responsibilities within the project and willing to do what needs to be done to assure the successful completion of the project. The ability to respond to frequent pressure to meet deadlines. These projects are for telephony, call center, and infrastructure related projects so that type of background/experience would be helpful. Job Requirements: • 4+ years of project management experience. • A PMI PMP certification is preferred. • IT industry experience preferred. • Thorough understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle. • Excellent written and verbal communications skill.
